What does DoctorMatch do for me?

Step 1 - Tell the doctors about yourself.: Let us know about what surgery you're interested in and why. For most surgeries you'll also see basic information about the surgery as soon as you pick it. Things like cost, time to recovery, and whether the surgery is permanent or not. You'll also be able to provide your contact information and preference for being contacted. Your privacy is guaranteed.
Step 2 - Select doctors matched to you.: Once we have all your information we'll match you to qualified doctors in your area. On average you'll probably match to anywhere between 1 to 8 doctors who perform your surgery of choice. You may browse the list of doctors. We only share your contact information with those doctors you select.
Step 3 - Finish and wait for your replies.: Once you've selected the doctors your interested in we automatically contact them for you and they have an opportunity to reply to you. Not all doctors will reply, but your information will be reviewed. See more details below about what you can expect.

What happens once I contact a doctor?

Once your contact information is sent to the doctors, you should receive responses from the doctors you choose within 3 to 5 business days. However, in some very busy practices, the response time may be up to 10-12 business days. Most of our doctors like to call you during the day, so please leave a number you can be reached at during that time. Many of our visitors find that providing their work phone number is best.

If a doctor chooses not to contact you then you will receive an email from DoctorMatch letting you know the reason why and we'll attempt to match you with additional doctors.
